From the People.. in the new Millennium

The unanimous Declaration of the People united for the good of humankind...

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for People to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to press for their basic freedoms.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, the pursuit of Happiness and Freedom of Choice to Avoid Toxic Exposure.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among People, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety,  Happiness and Health. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security and health.--Such has been the patient sufferance of the people; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter the relationship between Government and Corporations. The history of the present Government and large Corporations is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute destructive Tyranny over the land, air, water and food necessary for the health, happiness and continued existence of the people.   To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.

Governments have refused Assent to Laws protecting people from corporate greed and lust for our dwindling natural resources, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

Governments have forbidden Cities, Municipalities, Towns and Villages to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance to the health and well-being of their citizens unless suspended in their operation till Government's Assent should be obtained. (SEE FAIRFAX)

Governments  have refused to pass Laws for the protection of its people against toxic pollution of the air, water, land and food.

Governments and Corporations have gathered together at places and times distant from the people, for the sole purpose of making agreements and deals between themselves and to the detriment of the people.  [See EPA and Malathion]

Governments have  harassed, jailed, impuned and generally harmed groups and individuals  repeatedly, for opposing Corporate invasions on the rights of the people.

Corporations have obstructed Justice, by hiding and lying about the known effects of their dangerous and toxic pollutants. [See:  Trade Secrets]

 

Corporations have made Government dependent on them for the tenure of their offices, the amount and payment of their campaign funds and employment after Government service.

Governments have erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass people, and promote the well-being of Corporations..

Governments have combined with Corporations to subject us  to the most criminal, ongoing poisoning of every living thing on the face of the earth. [Read EPA Malathion Reversal]

 

Governments have allowed the spraying and indiscriminate use of toxic pollutants in schools, parks, around waterways and public roads providing Corporations with billions of dollars of revenue at the expense of the health and well being of the people.

 

Governments have Protected Corporations, by a minimal penalties instead of punishment for the many Murders and Permanent Injures they have inflected, by nature of the toxic poisons they sell, on the land, sea, air and people of this planet

 

Corporations have taken over our Legislatures, and de facto invested themselves with power to legislate for the welfare of their bottom line.

 

Governments have handed over our environmental rights to the "safe keeping" of Corporations.

 

Governments have allowed Corporations to plunder our natural resources, ravage our ecosystem and destroy the lives of our people.

 

Governments are allowing Corporations to set the agenda for the well-being and health of the people.   

 

Governments have allowed Corporations to so corrupt our natural resources as to bring on the inhabitants of this planet the merciless spector of death, disease and suffering.  Corporations whose known rule of conduct, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.

In every stage of these Oppressions the "unbought" researchers, scientists, physicians and educators have provided ample evidence of the environmental and personal consequences of living in Corporations' toxic brew.

Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by denials of "causal" injury based upon Corporations' "sound science", delays in instituting solutions when the evidence is overwhelming. A Government whose character is thus marked by these acts and omissions is an unfit representative of a free people.

Governments and Corporations have been deaf to the voice of independent science, blind to the raising cancer and death rates, while chanting their mantra of "sound science", "risk assessment" and "risk/benefit analysis. 

We, therefore, the unrepresented people, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of our Country and World, solemnly publish and declare, That We are, and of Right ought to be able to live Free from pollutants and polluters

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, the future of our children and grandchildren and our sacred Honor.
